How Amir Erfani built Sepano Data Processing, the Shipnow transportation system, and Rozamoon — a story about building technology companies from Isfahan, Iran, to Dubai and beyond.

Amir Erfani is an Iranian entrepreneur from Isfahan, Iran. He founded his first venture, Mahsool.com, in 2005, established Sepano Data Processing in 2008, launched the Shipnow online transportation system in 2016, and today also leads Rozamoon, a web development company serving clients in Dubai and worldwide.

Building in Isfahan

Sepano Data Processing started as a small software engineering team in Isfahan. Over 17 years it delivered web, mobile, and IoT products for Iranian and international companies — including national-scale paperless and document-management projects for water and sewage companies in Isfahan, West Azarbaijan, and Hamedan, and traffic-control systems combining IoT with AI.

Scaling Shipnow

Shipnow became the most used online transportation system in Isfahan, creating jobs for 6,000 drivers by 2022 and growing sales 6000% in five years — without outside investment.

Going international

Through Rozamoon and consulting work, the same team now ships projects for clients in Dubai, Germany, and the United States — from real-estate automation to hotel systems and university research collaborations.
